Some Generosity for the Arts

The Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City announced that it has raised just under $400,000 through its ArtsKC Fund, a program that works with companies to raise funds from employees to support the arts in Kansas City (the Lyric Opera is a participating company).  Supporting the ArtsKC Fund helps to ensure the health and diversity of the arts community in the Kansas City metropolitan area.  Read more about the campaign in an article in The Kansas City Star.  The article mentions that the campaign didn’t quite reach its goal of $440,000, but donations will still be accepted through the end of June.  Click to learn how to support the ArtsKC Fund.
